Asian Egg Donors Wanted
I am seriously considering becoming an egg donor. According to a post on Craigslist Asian egg donors are particularly prized -- I sent them an application, and was sent in return a very comprehensive screening packet, with the promise of $5000 if I actually went through with everything.
I find the whole thing very interesting. As I said, I'm considering it.

Well, here's a whole town of people who might be vaguely similar: the population of Liqian, in China, may be the descendents of a lost Roman legion. Chinese folk with green eyes and blond hair. Awesome.

Don't do it! My sister's Boston roommate was an egg donor, and the months of hormone injections before harvesting made her the most awful woman on the planet. She was miserable, and at the end of it all, she said the $5000 wasn't enough for that kind of hell. She was thrilled that someone could have a child, but she also swore that she would never do it again, not even for a million dollars. It is not kind to your body, not at all.
